The
Deutscher Musikrat awarded other music
and
Yiddish Summer Weimar the first prize nationally for
"The Other Europeans" project, in the category
"intercultural music." The award was given during a
public ceremony on February 19th 2008 in Berlin, in
which the German Federal Minister for the Family, Ursula
von der Leyen, presented the prize to Stephanie Erben
and Alan Bern.
